The initial attack last Monday led to an armour timer on Tuesday, which was unsuccessful due to NC. suiciding three titans into the Imperium fleet. Once the Keepstar repaired, it went straight into shield vulnerability and was reinforced again by the Imperium. Wednesday’s timer was uncontested, with the only real action being the wandering Aeon. All of which brings us to tonight, and the hull timer. If successful, Imperium will destroy a fitted Keepstar. If it repairs, will they move out of the North or continue with the timers?
This is one of the most hyped fights in recent history, with rage pings going out across alliances for the past week. Imperium have been amassing their forces. On the other side, NC and Panfam along with GOTG have been storing their capital & supercapital ships nearby, hoping for an opportune moment in the fight to inflict maximum damage on the Imperium.
Propaganda posts have been filling Reddit and news sites, with people making grandiose claims about what this fight means. Is it the start of a big Northern invasion by Imperium, or is it simply that the Keepstar was placed too far south? The topic has been endlessly chewed over on the various talk shows and Discords.
Progodlegend has even posted on r/gaming, spreading the hype to the wider gaming community.
Whatever happens, whether damp squib, epic B-R version 2, or somewhere in between, it will be hopefully something for players to remember being part of.
